Today in class we took our test on pretty much everything we've learned so far in these first couple of weeks. The main subjects on the test were A Message to Garcia, Elbert Hubbard, Arete, and Socrates.  I found the test to be reasonably fair because it did require some long challenging questions but if we studied and actually knew the answers then it was easy. I don't necessarily like writing two essay questions but it helps me learn the concept I'm writing about. The one thing I didn't really know that well is what arete is but good thing the test didn't require too many questions on that topic. I also had trouble of the polis question which asked for two different words that were different but had the same origin of polis. I put city and metropolis but I don't think I got that right. This also concerns me because he said this is gonna be one of the easiest tests we take all year so looks like I'm gonna need to study for every test we take.
