The rap and the textbook are both teaching us about the same concept, Rome. But they do it in very different ways and you will learn the information wether you study the rap or the textbook. The textbook teaches it to us in a very straightforward manner and there are some pictures to go along with it. The textbook also has all the information organized into different sections and we know where to look when we want to find a certain thing. But the rap on the other hand is very scattered with facts but if we listen to it enough it can get embedded into our heads and we can remember it very well. But I think that the textbook is just a better method to learning because it is very reliable and reading and trying to remember a song is just far more complicated. I feel like I have better success when I read straight from the textbook and process the information then when I try to remember a song.
